Mind/Body Personal Training
helps you understand and excel in exercise & movement

In Mind/Body Personal Training, you’ll learn the skill of mindfulness -- physical exercise combined with deeper self-study. Using inquiry and direct observation, you will explore the inner workings of your own mind and body. All questions are welcome: sessions are tailored to developing a good exercise routine and improving on your patterns of strength, flexibility, injury, and pain.

For those who already exercise or play a sport, the Mind/Body process helps you learn to move more efficiently and effectively while reducing your risk of injury. We will assess and practice the movement skills you need to excel. My expert coaching in biomechanics will help you increase functional strength, skill, coordination, and range-of-motion.

For those with existing injuries or pains, the Mind/Body process will help you understand how to support and rehabilitate your injury by developing balanced strength, flexibility, and proper alignment. Through deeper understanding and ongoing practice, you can heal or improve injuries and other challenges that keep you from being your fittest and happiest.

If you’re having trouble getting started, I will support and educate you in making good choices and developing good exercise habits. Our personal development process will help you find the fitness activities that you find inspiring, so exercise can be something you look forward to. We can work indoors, or out along the beautiful waterfront. Learn to exercise with gym equipment, run or cycle, do bodyweight Yoga and Pilates exercises, even dance or do acrobatics -- we’ll choose the best options for your life!

Taking responsibility for your own health and well-being is a powerful process with benefits that far transcend physical good looks and the absence of disease.
